(5 / 5 stars)
Pamper swollen and achy feet, naturally.
Reduce swelling and pain associated with fluid retention with this blend of epsom and dead sea salts, lavender and rose, plus essential oils to promote healthy circulation (and a great scent!).
The swelling and pain associated with fluid retention is no fun – especially when you’re pregnant. A special blend of epsom and dead sea salts, lavender and rose, plus essential oils is great for swollen, achy feet with a bonus calming, floral scent.
TO USE:Add to a foot soak tub or warm bath and let the epsom salt dissolve. Soak feet for 15-20 minutes.
What I’m Made Of
Magnesium sulfate (Epsom Salt), Dead Sea Salt, Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) flower, Rose Petals, Citrus racemosa (Pink Grapefruit) essential oil, Rosa damascene (Rose) essential oil.
Why I’m Great
Fluid retention in the extremities is common during pregnancy, but just because it’s common doesn’t mean it’s comfortable. Epsom and dead sea salts can help to reduce swelling by pulling the fluids out of the body and increasing circulation. The infusion of 100% pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils helps to reduce inflammation as your feet and/or hands soak. Plus - who wouldn’t love a pampering soak that smells like citrus and flowers?!
Still fighting that swelling?
Massage can be a particularly beneficial tactic in fighting swelling - especially in the feet and ankles. Grab some Shrink My Feet oil and try this massage technique for some extra relief:
1. Start by massaging from the toes to the ankle in consistent, upwards motions keeping constant pressure. Do this for about 5 minutes.
2. Then, work from the ankle up to the knee. Again, keep consistent pressure and stroke upwards for about 8 minutes.
3. Finally, massage from the knee up the thigh really trying to “pull” the fluid all the way up. Work this area for another 5 minutes. The three-step technique will encourage the body to naturally draw the excess fluid away from the foot and re-circulate it throughout the body - almost like a straw - and provide temporary relief from swollen feet and ankles.
What Everyone’s Saying (5 / 5 stars)
Rachel in Oregon | Got a jar of the foot soak at my baby shower and boy did I need it! My feet were swollen from about the 6 month mark. I tried it and the first night my feet felt better than they had in weeks. Highly recommend.
Jane in California | OMG the smell is AMAZING! I am going to keep using this even after I have my son because I just love it so much!
April in Florida | My feet hurt so bad after working all day - even ugly compression socks had stopped working. So I started using Shrink My Feet soak and massage oil every other night and elevating my feet for at least 20 minutes after the soak/massage and it actually worked, I was amazed!
Francis in Washington | I got a sample of this in a Bump Box and immediately fell in love. It smells great and not only helps a little with the swelling but makes my feet feel nice and soft, too. It’s the little things when you’re pregnant and uncomfortable. :)
